For an organization which always strives to ensure growth opportunities for all members of the Orane family, it gives me immense satisfaction to inform you that our efforts in this direction has just received a huge boost with Orane being conferred the status of a Funded Partner of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
In addition to tremendously enhancing our credibility, what makes this achievement extra special is that Orane becomes the 1st100% dedicated vocational training provider in the beauty and wellness domain to secure this badge of honour from the NSDC, which conducted an extensive due diligence before choosing us worthy of this recognition.
The NSDC acknowledgement could not have come about without the trust and blessings of all of you who reposed your faith in Orane’s ability to provide international best-in-class skills training in beauty and wellness. Although no words of thanks are enough for this kind gesture on your part, I would still like to make use of this platform to convey our deep sense of gratitude to everybody who stood by us in our continuing journey to emerge as a premier training provider in our domain globally. I am confident that our bond would continue to grow stronger in days to come.
As part of the arrangement with NSDC, Orane would impart job-related, employable skills training to 40,000 young people. On passing out, students would receive co-branded Certificates that would carry the Skill India logo of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, in addition to that of NSDC and Orane, thereby hugely enhancing their value in the job market.
Given the huge regard that employers accord to Certificates carrying the logos of the Government of India and the NSDC, and backed by the name that Orane has already made for itself as a reputed training provider, our students would have a competitive edge over their peers in finding well-paying jobs.
Not just that. From the perspective of promoting entrepreneurship also, the deal with NSDC would help in a big way as students carrying the co-branded Skill India, NSDC and Orane Certificates would be eligible for preferential treatment for loans under the Government’s signature scheme, the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY).
But, personally for me, the biggest icing on the cake is that our tie-up with NSDC would enable access to world-standard skills training for a lot of youth, especially young women, from disadvantaged economic backgrounds as they would now be entitled to education loans from nationalised banks for enrolling at Orane.
For our business partners, the Orane-NSDC agreement would also prove beneficial. Student mobilisation would become far easier as our company would now be entitled to leverage the Branding and Communication collaterals of the NSDC, including its Social Media vehicles such as Facebook, Twitter etc., to spread the message about Orane and the work that it is doing to more stakeholders worldwide, including potential employers.
In conclusion, all that I would like to say is that at Orane we view the tie-up with NSDC as an opportunity to play our own part in contributing to the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of making India the ‘Skills Capital’ of the world. For us at Orane, the work will go on.
